Rosie Roberts (b. 1967) Roberts was born at Mulga Park cattle station in the Northern Territory. As a young child she traveled with her extended family 400km by camel to Areyonga, her mothers Country,  then 600km to Docker River, before walking the last 200km to Irrunytju where they settled. Roberts attended the first  primary school in the community, built in 1976 from mulga wood and brush.  Her uncle was Roley Roberts, senior Pitjantjatjara law man and a founding member of Irrunytju Arts. Roberts paints stories relating to her fathers Country, Kuru Ala (Eyes Wide Open), a Seven Sisters sacred site for women’s business south west of Irrunytju.
