Illurpa

llurrpa is special Country close to Irrunytju, it is the story of a big Kuniya / python egg .

There is a special rock and people come from all the communities to visit this big rock the Kuniya egg . There is inma (ceremony) to do with this rock. All the men, woman and children visit this big rock, they take off their shirts and hug that big rock, the tjukurrpa for Ilurrpa is all over the Country that is close to Irrunytju. My painting alway depict the Kuniya egg tjukurrpa (story), this story was taught to me by my brother, this is my story, this is the story I tell.
